My second Christmas mani was actually done on Boxing Day
when I finally took a breather from the eating and drinking. I put on Zoya’s
Cho from the Spring 2012 True collection as base - a soft nude crème in light
peachy beige with a hint of silvery shimmer. Its yellow tone make it perfect ‘foundation’
for my nails. To add a bit of sparks, I layered on top a coat of Alanna Rennee’s
Milky Way – a clear base topper with ‘orange
to green and blue to purple colour shifting glitters of different shapes and
sizes’. It is usually used on top of dark colours so it was more subtle
with Cho, as I wanted.
On Cho, I put on La vita è bella’s Chorus Kids nail decals (https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/lavitaebella1986). Christmas just don't feel right without Christmas carols! I am very taken by Nicole’s decals,
great quality, long wearing and the designs are fabulously modern, vintage and artistic.
