Happy New Year 2014!

I hope you all had a wonderful New Year Eve celebration.  This year I am in a different town, with no TV connection and two young children, we went off to bed before NYE countdown and fireworks. It's been a busy year at work for me so a quiet time with family to reflect and relax is precious.

In terms of blogging, I surprised myself by still pretty in love with nail painting and am still writing posts (though less frequent these days).  I ode it to  the awesome group of nail polish fanatics over in Aussie Nails, you girls keep my passion alive! :)

For my NY mani, I used some stunning polishes – Shades of Phoenix’s Tisiphone on ring finger and You’re head of the team, Zero over Ulta3 Black satin (https://www.facebook.com/shadesofphoenix). Tisiphone is a gorgeous burgundy red jelly with small copper/orange hex, pink squares and tiny pink/purple/red glitter dust. You’re head of the team, Zero is a versatile clear base toper made of multi-shape colour shifting glitter. I have quite a few colour shifting flake and iridescent topers, but the blupuple bars in You’re head of the team, Zero makes it unique and mysterious. Well done, Teneil!
