Candy Cane - it should be the best tape mani exercise but I failed epic (see thumb)! I know it's best to have the base polish dried completely (best overnight) before taping, and to use light colour polish as base (white in this case) and darker polish on top...etc all the excellent tips from Nailside.
So much theory said - still won't work for a busy mum. I started off free-handing two candy canes (inspired by Robin Moses' Christmas Candy Chevon') on my middle finger. Followed by a tape mani on my pinkie using OPI Skull & Glossbones as base - then, my son wanted a story and my daughter cried for a cuddle. Long story short, I free-handed the wiggly red lines, using Zoya's Blaze, with a dotting tool.
