Mo Sistas for November/ Black Knight butter London

Last November, I lost my dad to cancer.

This November, I am celebrating his life by joining Movember as a Mo Sistas.

"During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men's faces in Australia, New Zealand, and around the world. The aim is to raise vital funds and awareness for men's health, especially prostate cancer and male mental health.Since I cannot grow a moustache, I am supporting as a Mo Sistas in collaboration with my sister @ Handpicked by wearing a moustache every November day.

And what's better than starting it with butter London's Black Knight on my nails!

Black Knight is a black base polish with pink, blue, silver and black glitters. I drool for months wanting to get hold of a bottle and eventually found it here - now one of my favourite place!

Application is not for the faint hearted - here I have two layers of top coat over two coats of Black Knight (a top coat sucker like most glitter polishes). Recommend using pure acetone or remover with high acetone %. You can also use peel-off base coat, which unfortunately doesn't work for me - it peeled off my nail plate as well. If you want to give it a go, I am happy to swap a brand-new bottle of Essence's peel-off base coat with you as I bought a few bottles then, just leave me a message!

Despite challenging, I love this polish!

"Guys start Movember 1st with a clean-shaven face and then for the rest of the month, these selfless and genius men known as Mo Bros, groom, trim and wax their way into the annals of fine moustachery. Supported by the women in their lives, Mo Sistas, Mo Bros raise funds by seeking out sponsorship for their Mo growing efforts."

Disclaimer: I am not associated with the Movember Foundation and I purchased my moustaches accessories showed in Nailovelogy from Handpicked.
