Rainbow birdies

My friend introduced me to the world of Robin Moses - The Nail Art Wizard! I have restrained myself from watching all her YouTube tutorial since I couldn't bear not having the time to try them all.

This rainbow birdies is a meme of Robin's tutorial. I always like different variations of French tip nailart and I am quite proud of how it turns out, especially it's my first time using striping brushes!

I used a range of butter London - Pillar Fox Red, Darling, Minger, Bossy Boot, Lady Muck, Blagger, Marrow, Union Jack Black and Pink Ribbon (I said I'm a butter fanatic!), along with a few drug-store polishes. I also used a-england's Holy Grail, a sheer gold shimmer, to merge the bright colours (yellow to red). It is subtle but glowy, I love that it warmed up the whole palette.  

Don't you think my birdie looks like a baby bird demanding feed? Or my mummy brain telling me it's time to log off ;)
